Sell Floating Solar Without Competing With Your Supplier
FloatSolar is channel-neutral by design. We manufacture floating solar racking in Winter Garden, Florida and ship it to you. We do not perform EPC work, we do not install, and we do not bid projects. Every job our floats land on is your job.
A manufacturer, not a competitor
Most floating solar suppliers in North America also develop, engineer or install projects. That means the company selling you hardware can appear on the other side of your next bid. FloatSolar makes one thing: the float and the racking that sits on it. Everything downstream of the pallet is yours — the sale, the design fee, the install labor and the service contract.
No project bidding
We do not respond to EPC RFPs or quote installed systems. Inbound project leads in your territory get referred to you.
Manufacturer margin
You buy the structure kit direct from the factory floor. There is no distributor layer between you and the tooling.
Documentation on demand
Datasheets, domestic-content statements and structural details — including our hurricane protocol documentation for hurricane-belt bids — are available under your cover page for public-sector bids.
Who sells FloatSolar
Distributors & online retailers
Solar and electrical distributors and e-commerce solar retailers adding a floating category alongside ground and roof racking. Kits ship as palletized SKUs with fixed dimensions and weights, so they slot into an existing catalogue and freight model without special handling.
EPCs & installers
Commercial solar EPCs and electrical contractors that already win pond-adjacent work — HOAs, multi-family, wastewater authorities, agriculture and industrial process water — and want a domestic float supply they can price with confidence at bid time.
Marine, dock & pond dealers
Dock builders, aquatic management firms and pond service companies with existing water-access equipment and customer relationships. Anchoring and on-water assembly are familiar work; the electrical scope is subbed to a licensed partner.
Dropship or stock — your call
Dropship
You take the order, we ship the kit straight to the job site or your customer's yard. No warehouse, no inventory carry, no forklift. Packing lists and shipping notifications carry your order reference. Best for dealers testing the category or selling a few systems a quarter.
- • Per-kit freight, quoted at order
- • Build-and-ship window confirmed at order
- • Zero inventory risk
Stocking
You take truckload or partial-truckload freight into your own warehouse and sell from the shelf. Freight per kit drops substantially and your customers get same-week availability, which is what wins competitive retrofit work.
- • Consolidated freight, lowest landed cost per kit
- • Immediate availability for your customers
- • Qualifies for the highest volume tiers

Domestic racking your public-sector customers can bid
Floats and racking are manufactured in Winter Garden, Florida. For municipal, water district and federally assisted projects, domestic manufacturing supports Build America Buy America documentation and helps your customer pursue domestic-content bonus credits. We provide the paperwork; you put it in the bid package.
Built for the hurricane belt
The Gen3 structure is engineered in Florida, where design wind speeds are among the highest in the country. Marine-grade HDPE floats, anodized aluminum rails and stainless hardware resist UV and salt spray; the low-profile array geometry reduces wind uplift; and the mooring approach uses a perimeter anchor system sized to site fetch, water depth and design wind speed. Structural and anchoring documentation is in development with a Florida PE; current site-specific requirements are reviewed case by case with our engineering partner.
- • Marine-grade HDPE floats with UV stabilization
- • Anodized aluminum rails, stainless fasteners
- • Supports 560W-710W modules
- • Anchoring sized per site wind and fetch

Dealer program FAQ
Does FloatSolar compete with its dealers?
No. FloatSolar is a manufacturer. We build floating solar racking in Winter Garden, Florida and sell it wholesale to distributors, online retailers and EPCs. We do not perform EPC work, we do not install, and we do not bid projects, so we are never across the table from the companies that resell our floats.
What are FloatSolar dealer volume tiers?
The dealer program has four tiers set by annual committed volume: entry dealer at 2-4 kits per year, regional reseller at 5-9 kits, volume dealer at 10-24 kits, and stocking distributor at 25 or more kits per year. Entry and regional tiers typically use dropship fulfillment, while volume and stocking tiers take consolidated freight into their own warehouse. Dealer net pricing for each tier is released with your approved application.
Can FloatSolar dropship directly to my customer?
Yes. Dealers can choose dropship fulfillment, where FloatSolar ships the kit directly to the end customer's job site under the dealer's order, or stocking fulfillment, where the dealer takes freight in bulk to a warehouse and sells from inventory with shorter lead times and better freight economics.
Is FloatSolar racking Build America Buy America compliant?
FloatSolar floats and racking are manufactured domestically in Winter Garden, Florida, which supports Build America Buy America documentation on federally funded municipal and water district projects. Dealers can request BABA and domestic-content documentation for a specific bid.
Who qualifies for the FloatSolar dealer program?
Solar and electrical distributors, online solar retailers, EPCs and installers, and marine, dock and pond service contractors. Applicants need an active business with a resale certificate and a realistic annual volume commitment. Territory scope is discussed case by case.
