    FloatSolar manufactures the floating structure kit — the buoyant racking that holds panels above water and anchors the array in place. It does not manufacture the solar panels or inverters themselves. The components listed below are third-party panels and inverters that are dimensionally and electrically compatible with FloatSolar's Gen3 racking, chosen because their physical size, voltage, and power output line up with our rail spacing and extension hardware.

    How to choose a panel: match panel dimensions to the structure kit's rail spacing (so the frame clamps correctly), check the panel's Vmp against your inverter's MPPT voltage window, and consider bifacial designs for water-reflection gains on floating installations.

    How to choose an inverter: match continuous/peak VA output and MPPT voltage range to your chosen panel, confirm whether your electrical service is single-phase (240V) or three-phase (208Y), and check the resulting DC:AC ratio to keep clipping losses low.

    The floating structure kit is manufactured by FloatSolar in Winter Garden, FL. It is the buoyant racking frame that supports panels above the water surface — it does not include panels, inverters, wiring, or anchoring hardware, which are selected separately based on your chosen panel/inverter pairing and site conditions.

    Choosing anchoring: anchor type and quantity depend on pond depth, bottom composition, and local wind/wave exposure, and are specified per project rather than sold as a fixed SKU on this page.
